Pricing questions
A check is one scored session — one answer to "who is this?". Every time your backend verifies a session with Foil, that’s a check. Page views, signal collection, and dashboard usage don’t count.
The Free plan stops at 100 checks per month. Checks resume on the first of the next month, or immediately when you upgrade to Pro. We never bill the Free plan for going over.
Pro includes 20,000 checks a month. Past that, each check is $0.05 and lands on your next invoice. Your traffic is never cut off mid-month, and the dashboard shows the projected overage as it accrues.
No. Checks made with a test-mode API key are always free and never count toward your plan’s included usage.
Gate is a hosted signup service that lets developers create accounts for your product using coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex). Instead of filling out a web form, developers run a single command: npx signup <your-product>
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. You can manage your card, billing details, and cancellation from the dashboard at any time.
